Read this tonight. Isaiah 49:13-16
Shout for joy O heavens; Rejoice O Earth; burst into song, O Mountains! For the Lord comforts His people and will have compassion on His afflicted ones. But Zion said "The Lord has forsaken me, the Lord has forgotten me."
Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has born? Though she may forget, I will NOT forget you!

This was written 700 years before Christ allowed those nails to be put through His hands for you. We may think sometimes that our circumstances define who God is, but that could not be farther from the truth. God is still God and is still Sovereign no matter what is going on in our lives. The point is He loves us and cares about our hearts. ...broken or not. Today I witnessed my wife have to go through the same thing I had to go through 4 years and 8 months ago. Ya know what it did? It prepared me to be there for Gina, to have empathy over sympathy. You see whenever we are going through things that seem insurmountable...and were crying out..remember that He will never leave you are forsake you.
